My goodness what a day! I started off the day super early in order to welcome my first roommate to the apartment. Anna came, and I'm excited to be able to live with someone who is actually not from Champlain, someone who won't become part of the Champlain bubble! Tara came next and then before I knew it, it was time to meet the bus load of half the residents. SO exciting to get them out and exploring today, and I was glad it was a nice day again-so nice I wore shorts! After showing them where the atm was, the local spar (7-11) the store, and the two euro (dollar store) A small group of us hit up Temple Bar, which is definitely a place I can see myself heading to majority of the time!

Then we headed to the North Side and checked out the other grocery stores (Mark & Spencer's, Tesco, and a few others).
We ate some lunch, well bread, at a great little Italian place: Taste of Emilia, they had some wonderful bread!
After dropping the first group off back at the apartments Shane and I headed back out to meet up with the other group in the North and found the back way into the the mall, savage!
A group of seven of us went to go down to the Brazen Head Pub (right around the corner from our apartments, cheapest pint, and is the oldest pub in Ireland)
but the place was kind of packed so we ended up heading of to Temple Bar. We shared the experience of having our first pints in Dublin at The Temple Bar at Temple Bar, not too shabby I should say. I had Smithwicks and I will have my Guinness tomorrow once all the students are here, and we can share in the experience together.

After our pint's we head up to the next street and found an awesome burger joint by the name of bobo's. Have to say my hugeeeee milkshake wasn't to shabby!
All in all it was a blast of a day!
It is so much fun just finding more and more places I want to go to, try the food, sample the drinks. I am so excited everyone is getting here, and soon I will be starting school. I'm pretty stoked for the Trip to Bray on Friday as well :)
Well with all those fine establishments to visit out should be a great semester and experience. See any Leprechan's? Love you, Dad
